RETURN, REFUND, EXCHANGE & CANCELLATION POLICY

At Suti India Sarees, we strive to provide our customers with authentic, handcrafted sarees of the highest quality. Before placing an order, please carefully read and understand our Return, Refund, Exchange, and Cancellation Policy. By making a purchase from our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. GENERAL POLICY

Due to the nature of our products and to maintain hygiene and quality standards, we request customers to carefully review product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, fabric details, and images before placing an order.

Please note that:

  • Handcrafted, handwoven, hand-block printed, naturally dyed, and artisan-made products may have slight variations in color, texture, weave, print placement, and finish. These variations are not defects but characteristics of handmade products.

  • Colors may appear slightly different due to photography, lighting conditions, screen resolution, monitor settings, and image editing.

  • Products purchased during sales, promotional offers, clearance events, discount campaigns, or using coupon codes are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless received damaged or incorrect.

  • Customized, altered, fall-pico completed, stitched, or specially prepared products are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

2. RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

2.1 Saree Return Policy

As sarees are traditional garments that cannot be resold once handled, draped, or altered, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for sarees.

However, returns or replacements may be considered only in the following cases:

  • Wrong product delivered.

  • Product received in damaged condition.

  • Manufacturing defect present in the product.

  • Missing items from the package.

In such cases, customers must notify us within 24 hours of delivery by email or WhatsApp along with:

  • Order Number

  • Customer Name

  • Clear product photographs

  • Packaging photographs

  • Complete unboxing video showing the package being opened

Claims submitted without an unboxing video may not be eligible for approval.

2.2 Replacement Policy

If the claim is approved after verification:

  • A replacement product will be dispatched subject to stock availability.

  • If the same product is unavailable, customers may choose:

    • Store Credit, or

    • Refund to the original payment method.

The final decision regarding replacement, refund, or store credit shall remain at the sole discretion of Suti India Sarees.

2.3 Return Conditions

For an approved return:

  • The product must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and unaltered.

  • Original tags, labels, packaging, and accessories must be intact.

  • The product must be returned in the same condition in which it was delivered.

Products failing quality inspection upon return may be rejected.

3. NON-RETURNABLE & NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

The following items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange:

  • Sarees purchased and delivered as ordered.

  • Products purchased during sale or clearance events.

  • Discounted products.

  • Customized or altered products.

  • Fall-pico completed sarees.

  • Gift cards and promotional vouchers.

  • Products damaged due to misuse, improper handling, washing, storage, or wear after delivery.

  • Orders rejected at the time of delivery.

4. REFUND POLICY

Refunds are issued only when:

  • A replacement cannot be provided.

  • The wrong item has been delivered and returned.

  • The product has a verified manufacturing defect.

  • The order is cancelled before dispatch and approved by our team.

Refund Processing

  • Prepaid order refunds will be credited to the original payment method.

  • Refunds are generally processed within 7–10 business days after approval.

  • Processing times may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, and financial institutions.

Shipping charges, Cash on Delivery charges, gift packaging charges, and other service fees are non-refundable unless the error is on our part.

5. ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

Prepaid Orders

Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch.

Once an order has been processed, packed, or shipped, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.

Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

COD orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement by contacting our customer support team.

Repeated cancellation of COD orders may result in future COD facilities being restricted.

The decision regarding order cancellation shall be final and binding.

6. STORE CREDIT POLICY

Where a refund is not feasible, Suti India Sarees may issue Store Credit.

  • Store Credit will be sent via email.

  • Store Credit is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

  • Store Credit must be utilized in a single transaction.

  • Unused balances may not be refundable after expiry.

7. EXCHANGE REJECTION CONDITIONS

Exchange, replacement, return, or refund requests may be rejected if:

  • The product has been worn, washed, ironed, altered, or used.

  • Original tags or packaging are missing.

  • The request is made beyond the specified reporting period.

  • The issue relates solely to customer preference regarding color, texture, fabric feel, weave, or design.

  • The variation is due to the handcrafted nature of the product.

  • The customer refuses delivery without valid reason.

8. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

8.1 International Shipping

Suti India Sarees ships to selected countries worldwide.

International shipping charges, duties, taxes, customs fees, and import charges are the responsibility of the customer and vary depending on the destination country.

8.2 International Returns & Refunds

Due to logistical and customs-related limitations:

  • International orders are not eligible for return or exchange.

  • Refunds will only be considered in cases where a wrong or defective product has been delivered and verified by our team.

8.3 Delivery Timeline

International deliveries generally take approximately 7–15 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination country and customs clearance procedures.
